Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjäll has defended her lead at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open in Holzhäusern and heads into Saturday’s final round with a three-stroke lead. After rounds of 64 and 66, the 26-year-old is on 12 under par and is in a strong position to claim her first victory on the Ladies European Tour.
In second place are the Australian Whitney Hillier and the Irishwoman Anna Foster (both on -9). Former tournament winner Alexandra Försterling (Germany) shares fourth place on -8.
From a Swiss perspective, Vanessa Knecht has put in an impressive performance on her home comeback after a two-year break. On two under par, she heads into the final round as the top-placed Swiss player and is optimistic about a strong finish. The other Swiss players missed the cut.
